Notes:
Blue Valley began in 2001 as a duo,
with Earl Clark on acoustic guitar and
Buzz Busby on upright bass.
Earl and Buzz had spent a substantial
portion of their lives playing country
music. Earl played pedal steel for
about 25 years and Buzz did the same
on electric bass. They both grew weary
of the genre and the places they had to
play. So, the decision was made to
switch to bluegrass. They feel that they
now play a style of music that God gave
them the talent for.
In 2002, Mike Clark came on board to
play guitar and Earl moved to
mandolin. Near the end of 2003, the
guys were joined by Joe Morrow on
banjo.
Blue Valley sticks pretty close to
traditional bluegrass and bluegrass
gospel. The members of the band love
this style of music and the fans who
support this music.
Blue Valley performs at festivals,
churches, retirement centers and
conventions. They're also hard at work
on their second CD.
