Formed in 1994, East Mountain is an
acoustic band that sings original and old-
time bluegrass gospel music.

Based in Northeast Texas, East Mountain is
made up of:

  • Art Mauldin, vocals, guitar, songwriting
  • Randall Waldron, vocals, mandolin,
    fiddle
  • Mike Tucker, vocals, banjo, guitar,
    Dobro, mandolin
  • Julie Tucker, bass guitar
  • Lynn Gray, lead guitar

Their most recent CD, Only Love, includes
guests Dennis Clute on Dobro and Lynn
Gray on lead guitar.  

East Mountain sings and plays in churches,
retirement centers, festivals, local music
shows, charitable organizations and is open
to any invitation to share the good news of
Jesus Christ through bluegrass music, an
old-time music form played with acoustic
instruments.

The first two projects are a collection of
original songs written by Art Mauldin.  The
third project was recorded live at Art's home
church and includes some well-known
gospel standards.  The later projects are a
mixture of Art's original songs and gospel
standards.
