Notes:
Mark Phillips & IIIrd Generation
Bluegrass Band is a talented group of
award-winning musicians who
perform hard-driving traditional
bluegrass and bluegrass-gospel
music. Young and energetic, the band
consistently entertains audiences all
over the United States and Canada.
Based out of Norman, Oklahoma, the
band was originally formed in 1995 by
Mark Phillips and his father, Wayne
Phillips, and the band's sound has
evolved into a crowd-pleasing blend of
traditional and original songs.
IIIrd Generation has released two
CDs, Song of Tradition and Midnight
Train. Both have sold very well and
have been featured on several
national and international bluegrass
radio stations. They will soon be
returning to the studio to work on a
new CD to be released next year.
IIIrd Generation maintains a website
at: thirdgenerationbluegrassband.com
that contains news, pictures of the
band, downloadable mp3 files, links
to their fan club, and a merchandise
section where the CDs can be
purchased.
IIIrd Generation appears at many of
the festivals and events featured on

schedule is updated regularly, so
