Railroad Creek consists of five young
Christian friends who travel all over
playing bluegrass gospel music
together. Band members – and their
favorite quote:
Seth Bond, 20, on mandolin, is a
sophomore at Mississippi Gulf Coast
Community College. He is the lead
singer on the majority of the songs
performed by Railroad Creek. Seth has
also has written and co-written several
songs played by the group. – For
whosoever shall call upon the Lord shall
be saved.
Heather Bond, 17, plays bass and is
Seth's sister. Heather attends Stone
County High School where she is
currently a junior. Heather is a
Mississippi State Bluegrass Banjo
Champion and will be playing banjo for
the Daughters of Bluegrass. Heather
contributes her high harmony as well as
singing lead on a variety of songs played
by Railroad Creek. Heather has also
written and co-written several songs. –
I can do all things through Christ which
strengthen me.
Trent Wilkerson, 17, on fiddle is a junior
at St. Martin High School and will be
making a trip to France this summer.
Trent contributes his tenor harmony to
Railroad Creek's distinct sound. He also
is one of the many talented song writers
that Railroad Creek has to offer. – Ask,
and it shall be given you; seek, and ye
shall find; knock; and it shall be opened
unto you.
Trevor Wilkerson, 17, plays guitar and is
a junior at St .Martin High School where
he is a starting defensive lineman on the
football team. Trevor, on stage, is one of
the more quiet ones who rarely says
anything and does not sing. He has also
contributed to a couple of songs the
group has written. – For whosoever shall
call upon the Lord shall be saved.
Malachi Wilkerson, 19, on banjo, is a
freshman at Mississippi Gulf Coast
Community College. Better know as
"Wilkie", he helps out Railroad Creek with
the bass and singing lead on a couple of
songs. – With God all things are possible.
