Welcome to the West Texas Bluegrass
Association (WTBA) in Odessa, Texas. WTBA
was formed in 1990 at a time when there were no
festivals at all in West Texas. Since then,
festivals have been started in Andrews, Lamesa,
Littlefield, Big Lake, Colorado City, McCamey,
Grape Creek, San Angelo, and Wickett.
Two annual campout/pickout jams have also
been started in the area, one in December and
the WTBA Summerfest Jam at Florey Park in
Andrews each June.
WTBA holds their meeting and open jam session
at 1:00 pm on the 2nd Sunday of each month at
the AmVets Community Building in Odessa.
Visitors and new members are always welcome.
Membership includes a subscription to the
monthly WTBA newsletter, for the most current
and complete information about bluegrass events
in West Texas and Southeastern New Mexico.
