caused us to give it up and we turned it over to someone else, and
since closed down. The PICK & BOW was a important way for us to be

did a great job of keeping blue grassers up to date on happenings.

If you were not at Triple Creek last Saturday--5-27-06, then you
missed one of the greastest performances of Southern Spice--Mary and
Juanita sans Becky really sang hair raising and spine chilling to me
if not anyone else. My heart was in tears as I sat there listening
to one of the greatest groups in these United States. Also had the
privilege for Juanita to sing Joli Blonde while I played it--a star
raising night--don't dare miss the next. Elton 6/2/06

We met last Saturday at Triple Creek RV near Woodville after Jerry
Pesson showed you the 86 year old Gibson F-4 mandolin that was given
to me and we visited about your web site. You were very modest
about it. I mentioned to you that I have some experience in building
web sites. After visiting www.sabinebluegrass.com, it is obvious
you are on your way completing an excellent web site and making an
outstanding contribution to the bluegrass community! Thank you for
what you are doing. Like countless others, I was sad when Edy had
to end the Pick N Bow. What a contribution she has made. We are
very fortunate that you have decided to "stand in the gap"! 6/1/06

To Gerald and Sabine Bluegrass: There's a new girl in town. Much
smaller than a banjo. Somewhat smaller than a mandolin. Maybe the
size of my fiddle or a mite smaller. She's bluegrass alright, when
she cries. She has Italian blood -- maybe she'll play the mandolin.
8lbs and 1oz. Black hair. Length of a fiddle, now that's
bluegrass. Name: Sophia Isabella Great-grandfather: Elton Wayne
